Nominations are now being accepted for the women's State Administrative Committee Chairman.  The State Administrative Committee Chairman is elected to serve for a two year term and currently is limited to no more than forty consecutive terms.

Nominations are to be sent to the women's Regional Chairman and must be received no later than March 1, 2016.  Qualifications, duties and instructions and the nomination form can all be found right HERE.




The NCAA and USA Gymnastics have joined forces to showcase some of the nationís top gymnastics talent in mid-April.  The NCAA hosts its 35th National Collegiate Womenís Gymnastics Championship, April 15-16, at the Fort Worth Convention Center while USA Gymnastics holds its Region 3, Level 8 Championships at nearby Texas Christian University, April 14-16.  We are sure that you will want to read the entire press release that was released to the media by the NCAA National Office.



Professional Members whose Safety Certification expires July 31, 2016 expires can register and renew starting today!  Members can renew up to one year prior to expiration.  You can find yourself a Live Course, or take the online course that is available on the Usa Gymnastics website.




Reporting Xcel Gold, Silver and Bronze Meet Results
All scores MUST be sent to results@cousag.com in order for a meet to be considered as a qualifying meet.  Instructions are available for exporting results from ProScore, Beyond the Scores or a generic format.  No scores can be counted if they aren't reported in one of these accepted formats.

Colorado State Law, Senate Bill 11-040 REQUIRES ALL coaches with primary supervisory responsibility for a youth athletic activity to complete annual concussion recognition education.  A course that is free and meets these requirements can be found at www.nfhslearn.com.  In order to take the free course, you will need to register with the NFHS Learning Center.  Please take the time to take this course for the safety of our children, and to become compliant with the law.

Club Owners and Meet Directors need to understand the IRS rules for 1099 forms.  If you paid any single judge or other independent contractor $600.00 or more in a calendar year, you are responsible for sending them and the IRS a 1099 form.  Please read the information regarding compliance with the IRS code for 1099 forms in order to meet federal requirements.  This could be important for your business...
