The State Meeting and Draw
will be held on Saturday, June 15th at 6:30 PM at DU in Sturm Hall (the same place as last year).
If you are looking at hosting a Compulsory State Meet, the 2013 Compulsory Meet Bid Form must be in the hands of our illustrious
State Chair by May 31st.
Also, there will be a compulsory clinic on June 16th at Peak Gymnatics from 9:00AM to 5:00 PM, and another clinic in August.
More information on the August clinic will be posted when it becomes available.
There will be a Judges Test
on Saturday, August 24th at DU in Sturm hall, #253 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
There will be another test at least 5 weeks later at a time and place still to be determined.
The 4th Annual College Bound Showcase
for Region III is now open to ALL Level 9 and 10 uncommitted gymnasts graduating from high school in 2013 through 2017.
This is NO LONGER just for 9's who qualified to Westerns and 10's who qualified for Regionals.
This is a great opportunity to have more than 30 colleges recruit Region III gymnasts.
And the cost is only $150.00, which includes a leotard and inclusion in the college coach DVD.

HEY COACHES!
Will you be allowed on the floor at meets next season? USA Gymnastics has decreed that ALL coaches on the floor
at a sanctioned meet have passed the U-100 course
to become "Instructor Level" coaches at a minimum. This is a fairly easy course with little opportunity to fail, and will take only a few hours of your time.
Optional Clinic
information has been finalized. The clinic will be held at Denver University's Sturm Hall on Sunday, May 19th
from 9:00 AM to 12:00. We have the Entry Form

There will be a Compulsory Workshop Friday, June 21st through Sunday, June 23rd in Frisco, Texas.
The cost is only $300.00 - $425.00 (depending on when you register), and includes "Junior Olympic Compulsory Book, DVD and Cds – a $110.00 value."

Tops Testing
dates and places have been announced. The first will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, June 16th at Xtreme Altitude Gymnastics.
The second one will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, July 13 at TIGAR Gymnastics & Cheer.

State Board Meeting Minutes from October 2012 have been posted,

Notable items include proposed standardization of Level 4 & 5 warmup procedures, and the coming up
coaching certification requirements from our national office.

2013-2020 Women’s New Compulsory Program Info
What: NEW JO Women’s Compulsory routines and music for Levels 1-5. (Level 6 will be an optional level starting in 2013.)
When: National Workshops to teach the routines will be conducted:
1st weekend: May 30 - June 2, 2013. Disneyworld, Florida
2nd weekend: June 6- June 9, 2013. Reno, Nevada
Regional Workshops.TBA
Use: Competition using the new routines will begin August 1, 2013.
Materials: Date for Release of Compulsory Materials is yet to be determined.
Club Owners and Meet Directors need to understand the IRS rules for 1099 forms.
