The Women's State Meeting for JO and Xcel will be held on June 24th at the Hilton Garden Inn Highlands Ranch.  The agenda is:
      4:00-5:30 PM (meeting for both Xcel and JO)
      5:30-7:30 PM (JO Meet Draw)
      7:30-9:30 PM- Tim Frye Memorial Banquet- appetizers (compliments of COUSAG) and cash bar

Xcel for Boys is designed to offer a broad-based, affordable competitive experience outside the traditional Jr. Olympic Program to attract and retain a diverse group of athletes.  Both the Xcel for Boys Program manual as well as a How to Start an Xcel Program for Boys guide are available as a free download from the USA Gymnastics Boy’s Xcel page.  Additional information can be found Here.

All of theState Championship Meets for Men's JO, Women's JO and Women's Xcel have concluded!  The Results for all of these meets are now available.  Congratulations to all of the gymnasts, judges, coaches, parents and volunteers who worked so hard to make these meets a success!

The 2017 Secret U.S. Classic, the final qualifying event for women's gymnastics for the P&G Gymnastics Championships, will be staged at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill., for the fourth time.  Scheduled for July 29 at 6:30 p.m., the Secret U.S. Classic features some of the USA's top female gymnasts, and tickets go on sale Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. CT.

I'm pretty certain that the 2017 Secret U.S. Classic is well worth the drive or a flight to Chicago!  More information about the meet can be found here!

Reporting Xcel Meet Results
All scores From Bronze, Silver and Gold levels MUST be sent to in order for a meet to be considered as a qualifying meet.  Instructions are available for exporting results from ProScore, Beyond the Scores or a generic format.  No scores can be counted if they aren't reported in one of these accepted formats.

Colorado State Law, Senate Bill 11-040 REQUIRES ALL coaches with primary supervisory responsibility for a youth athletic activity to complete annual concussion recognition education.  A course that is free and meets these requirements can be found at  In order to take the free course, you will need to register with the NFHS Learning Center.  Please take the time to take this course for the safety of our children, and to become compliant with the law.

Club Owners and Meet Directors need to understand the IRS rules for 1099 forms.  If you paid any single judge or other independent contractor $600.00 or more in a calendar year, you are responsible for sending them and the IRS a 1099 form.  Please read the information regarding compliance with the IRS code for 1099 forms in order to meet federal requirements.  This could be important for your business...
